Mid-Atlantic Region - Jerry Carino, Jr. Seton Hall '95

 

Brother Carino graduated from Seton Hall University in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in English and from Columbia University in 1996 with a Master's degree in journalism.  While at Seton Hall he served as Alpha of the Gamma Epsilon Chapter and attended Grand Chapter '93 in Dallas.  He was appointed advisor of the Beta Chapter at Princeton University shortly after its re-chartering in 1998 and held that position until he took on the role of Mid-Atlantic Grand Delta in 2003.  Brother Carino, 33, works as a sports writer for the Courier News daily newspaper in Bridgewater N.J. and teaches a journalism class at Rutgers University.  He lives in Mount Laurel, N.J. with his wife of five years, Diana.

 

Midwest Region - Lonny Boeke, Carthage College '00

 

 New England Region - Matt West, Univ. of New Hampshire '92

  

North Atlantic Region - Pat Grimaldi, SUNY-Potsdam '79

 

Brother Grimaldi graduated from SUNY-Potsdam in 1979. He was appointed Grand Delta in 2004. Prior to that he served as an assistant Grand Delta to the North Atlantic Region.

 

Pennsylvania Region - Kevin Olsavsky, Penn State '86

 

Brother Olsavsky grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University cum laude in 1986 with a B.A.E. in Architectural Engineering.  He is a registered professional engineer and a LEEDŽ accredited design professional.  He serves as an associate with the firm of Kling Architects and Engineers in Philadelphia where he directs the design of projects in the high technology and government facilities sectors.  As an undergraduate in Psi Chapter at Penn State he held several offices including Pi and Upsilon, and has remained active with the alumni housing corporation.  In 1996 he was appointed advisor of the Alpha Chapter at the University of Pennsylvania as it was re-colonized and also serves on the board of its housing corporation.  He teaches a course in architectural lighting design at Drexel University.  Brother Olsavsky lives with his wife, Sandy (Alpha Sigma Alpha, Penn State '84) and their children Ryan and Erin in Havertown, Pennsylvania.  He is an avid long-distance cyclist and is also active in several civic and community groups.

 

South Atlantic Region - Brian Flores, New Orleans '95

 

Brother Flores graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.S. in Finance in 1995.  He is currently pursuing a Master's in Organizational Leadership through Gonzaga University.  He was appointed Grand Delta of the South Region in 2004; prior to that appointment, he was the Assistant Grand Delta for that region in 2002-2003.  Brian is a management consultant with BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting).  Brian is President of the Beta Xi Alumni Association, and the Webmaster for their web site http://www.noskulls.org.  In his spare time, Brian enjoys traveling, amateur photography, mountain biking and off-roading.

West RegionGhery S. Pettit, Washington State '75

 

Ghery S. Pettit joined Phi Kappa Sigma as an alum in 2001 after serving 3 years as the President of the Parents' Club of the Beta Psi Chapter at Washington State University where his son was a member and his father is the Chapter Advisor.  Ghery is a Senior Member of the IEEE EMC Society since 1997.  He received the BSEE degree from Washington State University in 1975.  He is presently employed by Intel Corporation, where he is presently the Vice President for Communication Services for the IEEE EMC Society.  He is a member of numerous national and international standards committees.  He is a NARTE Certified EMC Engineer and holds an Amateur Extra class amateur radio license (N6TPT).  Mr. Pettit is a Technical Advisor for the American Radio Relay League in the area of EMC.  In his spare time, Mr. Pettit is a private pilot.  Ghery and his wife Marilyn (Alpha Delta Pi) live in Olympia, Washington.
